Complaints

 

 

I provide my services as a mediator through Lapis Litigation Limited, a firm of solicitors which is regulated by the SRA. If you wish to bring a complaint about me in relation to my mediation services,  I would ask you to raise the issue first with me.

If following that process does not resolve matters, you would normally have the option of complaining to the Legal Ombudsman. However, in the case of complaints about mediation services, it is open to you to appeal to the Civil Mediation Council ("CMC") and this is likely to be the more appropriate option. The CMC can deal with appeals on certain grounds and there are time limits for bringing complaints (although the CMC has discretion to investigate complaints brought outside those time limits).
